Classics on Track for Children
Conceived by Paul Auston and Michael ‘Spike’ Milligan as a fun way to get out on track in their classic and GT sports cars whilst benefiting others, 2014 saw the first Classics on Track for Children charity track day at Goodwood Motor Circuit, raising over £6,000 for charity.
Since then we have run a charity track day each year, raising in excess of £22,000 split between Winston’s Wish, Cruse Bereavement Care and The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children’s Fund, our next one being on 7th June 2017 at Goodwood Motor Circuit.
It’s a winning formula which enables the owners of classic and GT cars to have a hugely enjoyable time in their car, out on track, as part of a 105db day, at an amazing location whilst raising money for charities! As the saying goes Win:Win!
In addition, there are usually supporting activities such as a Drivers Dinner, Quiz Supper and Prize Draw, plus the opportunity for passenger rides. It’s a friendly and enjoyable day for drivers, supporters, family, friends and spectators, and a stunning visual feast with some 30 beautiful cars in action on the day, with a parade lap which can include younger children as passengers.
